Reedkaye says "The Office Nemesis Calamity is the last of the series and I will really miss these characters. These two guys start something in high school that can't be taken back and both suffer for it. Four years later, they are forced to work together and what starts out as nearly impossible turns into some pretty funny situations."
From the blurb:
I hate his pretty lips. I hate how good they taste.
Theo
He’s also the guy I dumped in high-school when I realized I was straight after all. And he just so happens to be the intern at his dad’s company; the very same one I work for.
A terrible misunderstanding puts Justin Lewis into my care. I’m supposed to teach him how his father’s business works. But he’s determined to do it the hard way.
Four years ago, after breaking his heart, I experienced what Justin’s hatred could do. He ruined the final weeks of high-school for me. He scared me into skipping my prom night.
No more.
I’m not that frightened kid anymore. I’ve come far without anyone’s help and I’m not letting one begrudging ex ruin all that I’ve achieved.
If only he wasn’t so irresistible when he pouted.
If only I could stop leaning in to catch his scent.
If only I wasn’t about to make the same mistake all over again.
Justin
It was supposed to be simple; do the internship, make Dad happy, and go away to lick my wounds. I’m sick of the way I live, but a terrible breakup from four years ago still haunts me.
Until I start my internship and discover there’s Theo Wright in my office. Or am I an his office? Depends on who you ask.
The guy hates me and I know why. But I hate him just as much. He wrecked me for good when he turned suddenly straight after one encounter and I never trusted another guy since.
If I’m going to earn my ticket out, I need to do this boring internship. And Theo just so happens to be the only thing to help me pass the time. Annoying him is my new, favorite hobby.
Until I take it a step too far.
And he blushes like a maiden.
And my heart nearly explodes.
Maybe there’s more to him than I let myself believe. The way he looks at me while we work is almost enough to give me a glimmer of hope. If I was foolish enough, I might try something that could burn down in flames again.
Oh, who am I kidding? I’ve always been foolish enough.
The Office Nemesis Calamity is the seventh novel in the Frat Brats of Santa Barbara series, but it can be read on its own. Expect hundreds of pages of grumpy-versus-grumpy banter, through-the-roof steam, two sworn enemies giving each other a second chance, and a sweet farewell to the Highgate Academy.
Reedkaye's Review:
I am not ready for this series to be over. I think the author has given me so many stories that I really enjoyed and characters I loved that I’m not ready to leave them. I feel the author has put more personally into this series than the stories before. That holds true especially for this story.
Theo has a crush on Justin in high school, and it takes a long time for him to do anything about it. Theo believes he is straight, except he doesn’t understand his feelings for Justin. He also does not want to deal with his family if he doesn’t meet their expectations. Through Theo’s fear, he gets himself into a bad relationship with Justin and his friends.
Justin is really attracted to Theo, so when Theo says he is straight, Justin is more than a little hurt. His friends try to help by pulling some pretty strong pranks on Theo. Theo even skips prom because of this.
Four years later, Theo is working for Justin’s dad when Justin is forced into an internship working for Theo. Justin’s dad does not know the history of these two, so when anything goes wrong, he tends to blame Justin. This causes Justin to act on the problems working together.
There are so many cute situations in this story. So many relatable things that happen to these two that kept me page turning. The attraction between these two is so strong and so much finally comes out about how each was originally attracted to the other that I couldn’t help but get that aah feeling. The author also ended this story perfectly. All the characters are back bringing their individual personality into it. Again, I am not ready to leave these characters.

Heather's Review:
Hayden Hall writes brats well... and this time, he pits two young men who appear to be enemies, but were more star-crossed and ill-timed high schoolers who get a second chance at the end of their college careers as they meet up again as boss/intern...
As with the previous six books in the series, you have a good balance of sweet, steam and comedy mixed with coming of age and actually communicating... it's a fitting finale to the series and a wonderful read whether you start here at the end or read the entire series through. It can be read standalone, but I do think you'll enjoy it more if you know who all the side characters are and everyone's backstories.

Janet's Review:
The Office Nemesis Calamity is another fantastic story within the Frat Brats of Santa Barbara series! I freakin loved Justin and Theo! They had amazing chemistry.
Justin is interning at his father’s company. Theo is his boss and ex. Theo dumped Justin years before, believing he was straight after all. Turns out he’s not so straight!
Fantastic second chance, low angst, enemies to lovers and overall, an excellent must read if you’ve read this series. Well written with addicting pacing!
