Lucas and Dean (On Cravenwood Block #4) by A.D. Ellis

The final roommate pairing in the On Cravenwood block saga has been teased since the beginning, with lingering looks and couple-like behaviour, Lucas and Dean are the best friends to lovers story that everyone saw coming...

From the blurb:

Lucas would follow his best friend anywhere. Which is how he ended up bartending on Cravenwood Block. He’s got a great place to live, an amazing found family, and his best friend by his side. Everything is perfect—until he realizes he’s fallen for Dean.

Dean worked hard and landed the exact job he’s always wanted. He’s blessed with chosen family and his life-long best friend. Finding the right girl to settle down with seems impossible, but Dean isn’t letting the task—or his overbearing parents—dampen his happiness.

An unexpected kiss rocks both men to the core and leads them on a journey of self-discovery. While on the way, they’re forced to decide between their friendship of nearly thirty years and the potential for true love. Is there too much at stake or can the men keep their friendship intact while allowing themselves to fall in love?

*Lucas and Dean: On Cravenwood Block is a steamy, best-friends-to-lovers, sexual-awakening M/M romance featuring a bisexual bartender who keeps his feelings hidden because he can’t imagine life without his best friend and a self-proclaimed straight doctor who never knew how much he’d enjoy kissing the man he’s known his entire life.*

KJNRose's Review:

This was the perfect ending for these guys. I loved how it showed and ending with all of the guys of Cravenwood Block instead of just the main couple of this book. I love best friends to lovers and this one was done fabulously.

Heather's Review:

The series tease has been Dean and Lucas' friendship with pining and obliviousness so it's happily time to get their story... and sadly, wrap up the series... and A.D. Ellis gives us both a sweet and steamy best friends to lovers, bi-sexual awakening story and a wonderful wrap up to the entire series!

I love these two and the story just flows so naturally!  We see cameos from the other three couples, but the focus is truly on the emerging boyfriend relationship and the way it completes both men!

Lucas and Dean should be read in sequence, not only because the whole On Cravenwood Block series is amazing, but because you'll get the build up and the friendship vibes found in the other stories and get to read four amazing books that pair different tropes and different men together to make this an incredibly enjoyable series!
