The Christmas Rescue is an opposites-attract, forced proximity story that brings together two men who need holiday cheer together. Acosta is struggling with grief and Decker is struggling with the expectations his family places on him and their incredibly dysfunctional relationship...and with being in a rural environment during a snow storm...
As these two men open up to each other, they find holiday magic in the animals, land and small town, even as Decker works to try to convince Acosta to support his family's plan to frack on his land. As Decker learns more about Acosta, his sanctuary and his family, we see the real Decker emerge...
While this book has some heavy topics going on, there are also light-hearted, sweet and even steamy moments that will keep you reading and interested from start to finish.
