From the Blurb:
He only hired me for a week. Can our instant connection turn one Christmas into a lifetime of memories?
Adam Wells
How could I know when I was hired for the holiday that it would change my life? I was positive I’d never met a more egotistical jerk than Jones Marin, but the more I got to know him, the more confused I became. When he touched me, I burned, until I was falling head over heels for a client I assumed was a one-and-done affair.
Am I the only one being consumed by the fire?
Jones Marin
Adam is an escort—a rent boy. Disposable enjoyment. I hired him to be my date for a week of corporate holiday parties. It was supposed to be temporary. But Christmas is over and I don’t want Adam to leave. If I had unlimited income, I would hire him for life.
Would Adam stay if he wasn’t being paid?
Hired for the Holidays is an opposites attract, age gap, Christmas escort romance with meddling besties and a naughty/nautical HEA. This is the fifth and final book in the Hearts For Hire series.
tatted_book_freak's Review:
An explosively, combustible quick and enjoyable read! Adam and Jones were a match made from the stars, with two completely opposite personalities, making for a feisty, snickering story. Adding in the EWC and our beloved beginners, a masterpiece is destined to be magically available for purchase!

These two were flirtatious with an infuriating connection. Their banter was meteoric, with a touch of insanity. Jones’ dominant personality was challenged by Adam’s need to control his sanity, both failing beautifully. Their chemistry was stormy with an uncontrollable connection. Perfect read to put anyone in the Christmas spirit π

Sarah C's Review:
Raquel Riley hit on something great with the Hearts for Hire series. The
final book only proves this even further, giving us a great story, two
perfectly matched men, and enough heat to set my Kindle on fire.
Jones
is a workaholic who didn't get to where he is by getting distracted.
However, he knows that he needs to have someone on his arm for work
events - and so he typically hires escorts. When his usual service is
all booked out for the holiday season, his manager finds him Lucky Match
- which leads him to Adam. Adam is not the type he usually requests,
because Adam is his actual type and Jones doesn't want to risk
distraction. But desperate times call for desperate measures.
And
immediately, Jones finds himself challenged by Adam. Something that
intrigues him. Add to the mix the fact that Adam has a natural charm and
is incredibly good with people, quickly gaining favor with the
Executive Wives Club, and Jones is hooked. The two embark on a business
arrangement that quickly turns into something more.
The
characters feel really well developed, including the side characters
even if they aren't on the page as often. I do wish we would've gotten
more time with the other boys from Lucky Match, given that this is a
finale and I loved their found family vibe in the other books I've read,
but I don't feel like we were really missing out on much by not having
them. It was more of a personal wish list.
There was a part near
the end that I wasn't a fan of, a scene that should've definitely had
some communication before Jones made a particular choice, and I was
incredibly glad when Adam called him out on it. I was even happier when
they communicated about the issue and didn't let it devolve into some
kind of 11th hour drama. So while it was a situation that I wasn't
overly fond of, I loved the execution of it and the way it showcased the
healthy communication style between Jones and Adam.
All in all, Hired for the Holidays is very low angst with a decent heat level and great
characters. It was the perfect ending for the series and I cannot wait
for the spin off.
Hired for the Holidays is available for purchase on Amazon and as part of your Kindle Unlimited subscription.
