Christmas Bubble by Ana Ashley

A sweet spin off from both Chester Falls and Stillwater, Christmas Bubble is a great holiday novel.

From the blurb:

A Christmas snowstorm. Two opposites that most definitely attract. Only one bed.

When the man of your absolute dreams slams their mouth into yours, there is only one course of action. Yours truly–that’s me–has broken it down into four easy steps for your convenience.
You're welcome.

Step one: make sure he really is attached to you. Lips to lips. You're a clam. Do not let go.
Step two: climb him like a tree.
Step three: thank your past self for all the squats that gave you those thunder thighs.
Step four: enjoy every second of that kiss before said (maybe-not-so-straight) man realizes what he's doing and has a freakout.

Christmas Bubble is a low angst, standalone, Christmas novel featuring a petite but larger-than-life cheerleader, an older demisexual football coach and a winter cabin by the lake with only one bed.
Will this be the season when all their wishes will come true?

Jacquie's Review:

Oh my goodness, that ending was ridiculously sweet and hit me right in the feels. I wasn't expecting it to hit me like that.

This is a lovely sexual awakening story with a side of Christmas.

I loved how there were elements of Chester Falls and Stillwater in there, though this stands alone. To readers that have read those series, there are visiting characters and mentions.

The age gap between the mcs was significant, but it didn't feel weird. They had a lot in common, and I loved all of their interactions. The time spent at the cabin together was just lovely. Bubble brought a lot of joy to Coach's life, so there was no imbalance there.

I love the forced proximity trope, and that worked well here.

A great read.

Angel's Review:

So cute! I'm not going to lie I strongly disliked 'coach' from the get go. I just didn't like his character. I slowly warmed to him. He was just a character I didn't enjoy. Bubble on the other hand was a delight! Reading about the joy he has for the holidays and for baking put me in the holiday spirit! I really wanted to bake after reading about all of the things he whipped up. This book had incredible detail, so much so that you can tell the author heavily researched not just baking/cooking, but also cheerleading and football. The writing was profound. I felt every up and every crushing downfall, when Coach snapped at Bubble I have never wanted to reach through a book more to shake a character.

I fell in love with Bubble. Can we please be best friends? His character was really well written and I couldn't help but to smile reading about all of his antics, yes he's young but he's also had some serious heartbreak in his life. I also liked how Coach finally pulled his head out of his--- (you know what I'm talking about.) This was a slow burn with forced proximity elements with Christmas dashed in.

I highly recommend this to everyone! If you want something that will not only curb your romance craving but also want something that will make you feel the holiday spirit, this is the book for you.

Heather's Review:

Christmas Bubble is a holiday romance with a large age gap, grumpy/sunshine, bi-awakening and a truly clueless character... throw in a little forced proximity and the force of nature that is Bubble and you wind up with a very sweet and satisfying story!

Coach is clueless... Bubble is persistent and fate brings them together for the holidays in a really fun way... if you're looking to catch holiday spirit, look no further than Bubble's effervescent take on it!
