I was not a huge fan of Franklin when we met him in Out of the Ashes, but I can honestly say I love him now!!! Jack really knew how to mind f$ck his poor Uncle Daddy! There was so much filth, paired with a perfect amount of relationship development. 

This story focuses on Franklin’s growth post divorce. He’s learning to live for himself and enjoy life. We see him change from wanting no strings with anyone, to wanting to develop a special relationship with Jack while still enjoying the lifestyle. 

We also get a smoking hot scene with Noa, KC and Dean, thanks to Macklin’s headonist ways 🌶🌶🌶. Cara Dee knows how to write BDSM, poly and open relationships in such a way that portrays the depth of feelings and trust between her characters. I also really loved that we got to see Franklin's relationship with his daughter. 

I am really looking forward to the book from Jackson's POV, as I know he had to have more nerves then he showed to his sub!

Wow. I adored Hostile Takeover so much! I loved how take charge Jackson was and how open Franklin was once the ice was broken between them. And the stream was off the charts with this one! Such an amazing blend of kink’s and deliciousness - just perfect!

Hostile Takeover borders on the taboo, when Jackson discovers that the man he's crushed on since he was a teenager is no longer married to his aunt, and exploring life as a gay man... fast forward and combine that with some sleuthing to find out they match up in many of their kinks, and you have a classic story set in The Game world...

I really like how these characters communicate with each other and also understand their evolving needs in both their kink and potential romantic relationship.  We've already seen Franklin as a character in Out of the Ashes, but Jackson really brings out his kinks and also his relationship needs - and it's melt your kindle hot!  There's CNC, cuckolding, humiliation, sharing, roleplay and so much more and both the power dynamic and the integration of other characters in the series is so on point!  

I also loved the softer balance of seeing Franklin with his young daughter and the easy way that Jack integrates into his life.

This book is not for the kink light reader, but if you enjoy watching a couple establish their boundaries and play in a variety of BDSM settings, you'll enjoy Hostile Takeover.
