Full Moon Fires (Bearers #3) by Anya Byrne

Full Moon Fires is the third of the series to be re-covered and revised.

From the blurb:

When his own pack betrays him, half-shifter Lysander is forced to flee the only home he's ever known.

He seeks help in a Bearer shelter, but even here, he is haunted by his past. It all seems hopeless—until Callaghan steps in.

Upon hearing a mysterious pack killer apparently attacked a Bearer shelter, Callaghan immediately wants to help. But things are not what they seem, and instead of finding the crazed werewolf he'd heard so much about, Callaghan meets his mate—a mate who is in dire need of someone to help and trust him.

Lysander knows he can't afford to hope. Callaghan knows he can't force a bond onto someone who has already been through so much.

And yet, as they find themselves growing closer, the fire between them starts to consume all their doubts. But will it be enough, or will the shadows of Lysander's past consume them?

This is the second edition of Full Moon Fires and has been revised for republishing. Return to the world of Bearers for another adventure packed with howlingly hot Alphas and a romance that's hotter than ever.

Jacquie's Review:

Another quick but satisfying read in the Bearers Series/

I'm enjoying where the bearers storyline is going and liked Callaghan and Lysander together and rooted for them as a couple.

Each set of characters from previous books feature and even get povs from them in this one so it has to be read in order.

Slower burn because Lysander was recovering, but we still get heat times and a decent amount of steam.

I didn't see the little twists coming, so that was a nice surprise.

Rating: 4 Stars
