Dorian: An Opposites Attract, MM Daddy Romance (Baton Blue Daddy Book 2) by Avery Tu and Kota Quinn

Company gossip, an office quickie, an ex's wedding to a relative and two men who don't think they can be in relationships... plus glimpses of Adonis... Dorian enthralled our reviewers!

From the blurb:

Dorian Kang has a little extra time on his hands now that work has finally slowed, and being that he’s the most charismatic man in Pearl City, all he has to do is pick from the line of men waiting to be his next one-night stand. But even though he doesn’t do repeats, Dorian finds himself inexplicably drawn to Ira Knox, the famous sculptor who suddenly seems to always be around.

Ira Knox hasn’t been able to get Dorian out of his head since their drunken hookup months ago, so when they run into each other again he thinks this might be the perfect chance to finally purge the sexy COO from his mind. The best way to get over someone is by getting under them again, right? Maybe not. But Ira’s going to give it a try anyway.

When Ira’s ex and his cousin invite him to their wedding, Dorian agrees to attend as his plus one. Even though it’s an intimate affair, the two agree from the beginning to keep things casual between them. Only, Dorian can’t stand to see Ira hurting, and Ira might be realizing the reasons he’s always had for rejecting the concept of a relationship aren’t very good ones.

Can the two of them figure out what they really want before it’s too late, or will their arrangement to casually date ruin things before they can even begin?

Dorian is the second standalone in the Baton Blue Daddy Series. This is an opposites attract MM romance with mild hurt comfort. It involves light daddy kink, no age play and lots of chemistry. You can expect an office quickie, delicious food, dates-with-benefits, matching outfits and a HEA. Even though this book can be read as a standalone, there are some fun cameos from characters in the previous book.

Aquamarine is back with all the Juicy details of Baton Blues most eligible bachelors, since Kieran Kingsley is off the market.

This time it's Dorian Kang's turn. The most charismatic COO of Pearl City, has his sights set on Ira Knox, best friend to Theodore Hudson who we met in book one along with Kieran.

Dorian Kang has free time on his hands after a reprieve in his workload. A chance encounter with Ira at the Baton Blue Beanary coffee shop. Dorian is reminded of their pleasure filled night together & first encounter with the captivating sculptor. These two men are known for their notches on the bedpost. There is an undeniable attraction between them, but neither do relationships.

But what is the harm in a little fun and steady hook-ups? It's not like there is any risk in either catching feelings, right?

I just LOVE! This series so much. The characters are fun, relatable and dynamic. Oh, the drama! There is so much drama... and i'm here for it! I love Aquamarine, it's like our own little Gossip Girl of all the goings-on with our Baton Blue hotties. I can't wait for the next book in this entertaining and steamy series, after that teaser at the end, I know it's gonna be a blast. Dorian and Ira wereπŸ”₯!!

Dorian is an opposites attract, light hurt/comfort, daddy kink romance with a HEA and a very prominent Adonis, and I don't mean the Greek God!

Janet's Review:

Dorian is the second book in the Baton Blue series and was fantastic!!!

Loved Dorian and Ira! They start off as a one off hook up but it ends up being so much more!! I loved how Daddy Dorian took care of Ira! I felt their love, it was palpable. But beyond being sweet, hot and steamy it was spicy!

I cannot wait to see where these terrific authors take us next.

Overall, a fantastic read. Well written with great pacing that just flows! Highly recommend.

Heather's Review:

I read this book while taking the kids to the waterpark yesterday and let me tell you, I was glad to have a way to cool off without embarrassing myself in public - hot and steamy, but sweet and comforting too!

After being teased about Ira's story in book 1, I couldn't wait to get my grubby paws on Dorian (and now that I know more about Adonis... well, I guess it 's a good thing he doesn't swing my way or Ira'd have competition lol...

But no, I don't think he would, because as much as the characters thought they were doing casual, as a reader you could see what was evolving long before the characters... mostly because I think the characters were caught up in the chemistry...

In terms of being a "Daddy" book, this one is light on kink and protocol, the relationship is more about caring for each other than kink... more of an honorific than a dynamic...

I appreciate the authors teasing the next book for us and I can't wait to read Nolan and Ryker's story!  We also get a glimpse into one of Avery Tu's solo writes that ties into the Baton Blue world!
