I've not met these characters before and still feel like I got enough of a flavour of their dynamic and personalities through that. The trio are established and very loving with each other. They moved Scott in and also took a trip but both of those relationship milestones weren't a big deal. 

There's a lot of kink and wow was it hot. I enjoyed the way they went about picking up a fourth, the easy communication didn't interrupt the flow and nothing felt forced. I'd absolutely go back and read other stories about them because everything about this worked for me.

The trust and love they have for each other is explicit and what made their finding a hot twink to enjoy for one night so, so sexy. If you’ve read their other books – Skeletal Equation and A Spoonful of Sugar – then you will want to read Alternative Medicine too. This author is amazing at writing kink and I will eagerly await future works from her.

Alternative Medicine follows the same characters as Skeletal Equation and A Spoonful of Sugar, and while it can be read standalone, I think you'll enjoy getting to know Scott, Jericho and Pascal from the beginning. That being said, if you're just looking for a short vacation read with a ton of steam, the addition of a fourth for the night, medical play and the chance to introduce Scott to his first puppy play scene... look no further than AE Lister's Alternative Medicine...

Alternative Medicine was a delicious read with steam, kink and just enough relationship development to make you want to read even more about this incredibly kinky polyamory... bottom line AE Lister knows how to write kinky books and no matter what the length - novella or full story, leaves the reader hot and steamy...
