Cover Reveal: Nerdy Talk by Joelle Lynne

So excited to be able to share the cover for Nerdy Talk, the next Joelle Lynne book, which releases on July 9th and is currently available for pre-order!

Isn't it adorable?

The blurb:

Two nerds - One Lab

Who will come out on top!
Micah

For the last several years I haven’t felt very confident, my ex made sure of that. Working in a medical lab can make it easy to hide. When my flirty new coworker bursts onto the scene, he's the distraction I don't need. I'm content to come in and do my job, but he's determined to insert himself into my life. He’s exhausting, yet funny, and makes me feel wanted. Am I ready to feel attractive again?

Lucas

I moved here for my sister and my family. When Thalia got sick, she became my world. I knew I’d do anything to take care of her, even taking a job outside of my comfort zone. When I meet Micah and we almost share a night of passion, I’m convinced meaningless hookups are no longer what I want. The problem is convincing him to want the same. There’s something about him that I want to protect. My dirty lab puns and nerdy talk might drive him a little crazy, but I’m determined to win him over.

Nerdy Talk is an Opposites Attract, Nerd/Playboy romance with lots of laboratory references and a nosy well-meaning best friend. It’s Nerdy, it’s deep, it’s sexy and extra sweet.

Sneak Peek Excerpt (unedited and may change)

I was excited about the prospect of becoming a lead. It had been a dream of mine for some time. I couldn’t do what Martin did, be the boss, but I could be an example for my teammates. The pay raise is something I could use. I worked hard, and I knew my stuff. It was nice to finally be recognized for the efforts I put in.

A knock came from the door and I was too lost in my own thoughts to look up.

“Mr. Matthiou, please come in,” Martin instructed.

My head turned slightly to the side to see long slender legs encased in grey scrub pants standing beside me. He sat in the chair, but I didn’t look all the way up. I was still stuck in my own thoughts about the possibility of the promotion. What did I catch? The chipped black nail polish that graced his fingernails.

Immediately, my eyes snapped to his face, a face that looked familiar, yet different, devoid of any type of makeup and missing the hoop through his nose.

I almost choked on my own saliva as Martin just kept talking. I didn’t want to draw any type of attention to myself. It was only a matter of time before he realized who he was sitting next to.

“Mr. Andrews here will work with you today, as well as over the next several weeks, to get you familiar with our laboratory. I’m aware you’re familiar with microbiology?”

Lucas gave a half-smile before answering Martin’s question.

“Yeah, a little. We didn’t do a lot of it where I worked before, just some basic stuff. I’m excited to get the opportunity to learn more.”

I don’t think he realized yet that I was still just staring at him. He hadn’t looked in my direction at all yet. I wondered what he would think when he realized who I was. Not that I was much different from who he had encountered Friday night. The only big difference was that I was wearing my glasses today.

He finally turned to look at me and, without missing a beat, he gave me a wink. I blushed profusely because it was overly apparent that he knew exactly who I was. Was I going to be the only one who was going to be awkward about what had transpired the other night?
