Book 2 takes up straight after book # 1. And the pace it sets is relentless - I'm exhausted because 1. I stayed up reading this book and 2. it's non-stop action.
Breath of Life is very very slow burn but we are gathering more details of what Cael needs to do with the gods/goddesses along with ruling his birthright. There are heart-wrenching moments which did bring tears to my eyes and not everything is resolved by the end....but it's not too far to wait for book # 3 !! I just love the world building in this story - the mix of modern times with magic is brilliant! now for that nap....
