Up In Flames surprised me. I seriously loved the story. Remi is an EMT and Sanden is a firefighter. Remi is left at the altar. Sanden steps up and offers support for Remi. Remi is going through some tough mental times following and Sanden was a great friend, even though there’s some confusion going on in Remi’s brain. The story moves along at a nice pace, getting to know these guys better and what makes them tick. The premise intrigued me and I felt the authors did a fantastic narrative. There are some topics that are difficult to read and were handled well and with compassion. Overall, a fantastic read! Well written with nice pacing that kept me engaged and flipping the pages.

I have to say, I really loved how much it was emphasized throughout this story how important it is to be in the right headspace before jumping into a new relationship.
Definitely found myself drawn towards Sanden a little more than Remy. Sanden and his backstory really absorbed me – not that Remy wasn’t interesting but for me Sanden definitely stole this show. He was sweet, patient and just an all-round amazing guy.
Lots of swoony and steamy moments between them. The grade-A douchebag, psycho ex made for an even more interesting read.
Once again, I really enjoyed the positive mental health representation in this book.

Eden and Saxon have proven their chemistry transcends hockey romance - they can write an emotional romance with characters who don't play sports but do have chemistry...
It's interesting to watch as Remy starts to view his recent history through a new lens and how Sanden's patience is rewarded, especially as we learn more about Remy's ex (and Sanden's ex friend) and teh two of them start to explore the steamier side of their budding romance...
