Jacquie's Review:

MMM can be tricky but here it is balanced well with the author giving the reader each POV and a lot of open communication. The way that Ford and Colton communicated is just perfect. They'd been married but open and for a while so it was natural for them and not at all forced.

Though there is kink in Sugar Bunny, it doesn't remain the focus. I loved that there were plenty of non kink focused sweet and even steamy moments to show that feelings were growing between them all. I'd have loved to have a scene where Oscar gets his other kink but since bunny play is new to me, I was happy with that being the focus. Those parts were so cute!

Oscar's story really rang true for me and some of the stuff with his mum was difficult to read but dealt with sensitively.

Ended with a lovely HEA for the trio.

I love a good MMM story and the dynamics of Sugar Bunny were interesting on a couple of levels... the first being that the pet play element involved bunny headspace and that the original intentions of the characters was not for a poly-style story... 

The married couple in the story, Colton and Ford, have an open marriage with a ton of compersion - Ford understanding that he can't give his husband Colton who's a switch, everything he needs in a relationship and having good communication to make sure Colton gets everything he needs to be happy...

I honestly love the way the author uses Oscar's own history to contrast and show the strength of the poly lifestyle displayed by Ford and Colton...  I also love just how much Oscar wants to succeed on his own...

The kinks in this book make sense for the power dynamics and also for the storyline - and there is a contrast of non-scene relationship time that I really appreciated as we watched their relationship unfold...

Honestly, if you like a poly story with a dash of kink, a sprinkle of sweet and an adorable bunny who loves to burrow in blankets, you'll adore Sugar Bunny!

Excerpt 

My black naughty bunny outfit consists of my bargain-buy corset, a jockstrap, suspender belt, and fishnets. I made a pompom out of wool and attached it to the very bottom of the corset. I feel sexy wearing it, especially when I add the bunny ears. I make sure they’re fully upright because I want to look perky for Colton.

Colton and Ford are waiting for me in the reception room. They’re sitting facing the open doorway, which means they see me the moment I walk in the door. Both men stare at me with wide eyes, not hiding the fact that they’re looking me up and down.

“You look sexy,” Colton says in a husky voice.

“Gorgeous,” Ford agrees.

He rubs his hand over his thighs, which draws my attention to the obvious bulge in his trousers. I gnaw my lower lip as a little thrill runs through me. He’s turned on by me.

“Are you ready to play, bunny?” Colton asks as he stands and walks over to me.

Ready. Excited. Nervous. “Yes, Daddy.”

He grabs my hair and pulls my head back, making me squeak. The sound is barely audible, though, because he kisses me crazily hard at the exact same moment. He’s claiming me. Showing me who’s in charge. Not that he needs to. He’s in charge. I’ll do anything he says.

About the Author

Colette’s personal love story began at university, where she met her future husband. An evening of flirting, in the shadow of Lancaster castle, eventually led to a fairytale wedding.
