After the death of his sister, Colin, is forced to take her place as the families sacrifice to protect their entire family line. Colin is not prepared for the vampires and brownies who run the manor where he is to remain the next twenty-nine years. Jacob, Harland & Alexander are the remaining three vampires to be cursed to stay in the mansion til Colin chooses who to free next. What none are prepared for is all their mutual attraction and want to be all together. The vampires all make many mistakes along the way, not understanding they can all have Colin, it's lucky for them Colin is a forgiving human. It was a ride to see these four find a way to make their polycule work and once they are free it's time to stop the Coven from causing any more pain in their lives or that of the brothers who have left before them. Overall, Regitse did good in making this polycule balanced once they all realized it was actually a possibility for them all to have the other. This story is a little darker for the author but not enough to make you feel that it still isn't their voice. I look forward to seeing what they next have in store for us.
