Ziggy's Voice (The Wilde Men Book 2) by Saxon James

ZIGGY'S VOICE is the latest of the Wildes End series from Saxon James. Where two men learn to find their voices by being themself. This is the book I've been the most excited to read so far this year. I've been eager for Ziggy's book ever since I read Wilde's End!

From the blurb:

Kennedy

I’ve always been the relationship guy.

I love big, hard and fast … but unfortunately for me, that’s the quickest way to make a new romance crash and burn.

Moving to Wilde’s End, our not-so-abandoned town, is exactly the fresh start I need. What’s better than a town in the middle of nowhere and long days of hard work to swear off relationships? At least that’s what I think, until I meet Ziggy.

He’s the town electrician who has a weird habit of making sparks fly whenever I’m around him. He’s cute, snarky, and his piercings are hot as hell.

Too bad I don’t trust myself not to make the same mistakes I always do.

Ziggy

I’ve always been the weird loner. The strange kid who doesn’t talk.

So when Kennedy shows up in my life, with his big energy and sunny personality, I don’t know how to take him. I’m used to being the invisible shadow that goes unnoticed in the Wilde.

Kennedy makes me feel seen.

He doesn’t expect me to talk when the voices in my head get too loud, he doesn’t expect me to be funny or witty or anything that I’m not. He’s happy just to be around me, and that’s not something I’ve experienced before.

He’s sworn off dating. And I’ve never so much as been kissed.

But with the sunshine he brings to my life, it’s impossible to feel like a shadow anymore. I’m determined to win him over, no matter what it takes.

Angel's review:

I am obsessed with Ziggy's character, he is so adorable and absolutely precious! He's been taunted and tormented so much in his life and yet he still remains a genuinely nice and caring person. While he doesn't always speak with his voice, he talks volumes with his facial expressions if you take the time to understand them. And that's exactly what Kennedy took the time and effort to learn.

Kennedy is a sweetheart too in his own right, he cares about people and their feelings even if they are complete strangers. He tries his best to see the good in people, and what he wants most in the world is to find his person. After so many failed relationships where he gets told he's the problem, he decides to take a break from relationships. But Ziggy changes everything for him, and he can finally say he has found HIS person!

This book was incredible, and the characters are extraordinary too! I absolutely loved how the storyline just flowed effortlessly, I literally couldn't put this book down. I enjoyed reading about Ziggy and Kennedy so much, they both deserved a happily ever after, and they both got one with each other. (Talk about cute!!) These two are such a great match for each other, they complement each other's personalities while balancing each other out too. When Ziggy can't use his voice, Kennedy makes sure he's heard anyway, and when Kennedy is struggling with putting his foot down, Ziggy helps him create boundaries and enforce them.

I thought this book was absolutely fantastic and I am so excited to see how the next book is going to be. Especially because it's about a certain character who has a 'pet' bobcat...

Molly Otto's review:

When the Bellamy brothers move to Wildes End everything in this small community changes. Ziggy escaped from his past to Wildes End to start afresh and live his life as he wants. Kennedy comes with his brothers to fix up the abandoned small town and eventually get back to his old life hopefully this time not falling for anyone who gives him a chance. What makes these two so well for one another they allow the other to just be themselves. Both men have had not the best upbringings but together the help each other grow and move on from their pasts. I adore that both men really didn't understand what love was until they got to see in firsthand what it is like to be accepted truly and fully. As with the first book you see two unique men learn what it is to accept and love the other person as they are, no questions, just full acceptance. With this series you see a deeper connection and need for more from each and every one of these men is so uniquely beautiful in their own way. With each new character you meet, you get further drawn into this universe wanting more.

Ziggy's Voice is currently available as an e-book and paperback
