Book 6 has our favorite wacky throuple gearing up for the big climax of the series and their showdown with Mr. Gideon Cain. But first, they have a bit of rescuing to do.
From the SOS HOTEL: Luxury to Die For blurb:
My big secret is out. Adam Vex may be a tiny bit not human. But it’s not so bad. Just so long as Gideon Cain doesn’t find out.
It’s probably best if I keep my head down and stay out of trouble, especially after our ‘accident’ at the vampire chapel.
But one little date won’t hurt. We deserve some time off. And what can go wrong at a fancy dinner? It’s not as though we’ll become tangled in a corporate plot to exploit Lost Ones in brutal fights to the death for entertainment, during which we attempt to free the fighters, only for the evening to end with me riding an enraged werewolf through the restaurant, and have the entire escapade viewed millions of times online resulting in all of San Francisco asking:
What is Adam Vex?
Why would any of that happen?!
My name is Adam Vex and I'm your host at the SOS HOTEL, where we offer luxury to die for (Luxury not guaranteed).

Warning: SOS Hotel contains explicit language, situations, and content that some readers may find kinda unsettling. The books also contain the BEST F*CKING DEMON there ever was, the worlds most useless vampire who has a weird-ass thing for Swedish furniture, and a 100% human (not sus) who is super nice and deserves to have nice things.

I cannot get enough of Adam, Zee, and their Murder Daddy!! Book 6 has our MCs embroiled in yet another insane scheme of course. This time it's to save a group of Lost Ones who have been victims in a plot to force them fight to the death for entertainment. What could go wrong? Well, quite a lot could go wrong starting with the fact that a certain enemy of our sweet, boring Adam is one of the benefactors of this horrific event.
Things are really heating up with the plot now that we've come close to the end of the series. Fortunately for us readers, Adam, Zee, and Victor's relationship has reached scorching levels as well. I really enjoyed seeing Victor and Zee start to be more open with their affections for each other. Yes, they still bicker and fight, that's who they are, but they've finally started to let some of their walls down with each other and not just with Adam. I think Adam's rather brilliant idea for them to bond worked rather well for all invovled.

I'm pretty bummed that the next book is going to be the last. This is just such a fun series. Its wild, chaotic, sexy, and has me smiling almost the entire time I read it. I know I'm going to miss these three along with their surly therapist aka their not so AI bartender. I'm holding out hope that along with Adam and his men, Tom has a chance to go on and find his own HEA as well. Or at least the ability to leave the hotel bar.
Jacquie's Review:
The penultimate SOS book gives us all the things. All the action, all the spice. The threads of the story are slowly being tied together with enemies old and new making appearances.
One thing is for sure, the finale is going to be epic and I'm not sure I really want it to end. Quite honestly, I would happily read many more books of Victor, Zee, and Adam running the hotel with Tom Collins in the bar, just them being happy disasters with whatever plot came up.
Their relationship has been a slow burn, but Adam is seeing how powerful they can be together. It's always the strong silent types that really have depth and Victor is no different. The bond he has with Zee in this book is just swoony and perfect. No more resisting!
I'm picky with my re-reads and this entire series is one I'd visit again and again. I'm trying hard to avoid spoilers but that ending is just... wow, unexpected!

I'm running out of ways to describe this series, it's been such a fun ride up to and including now and I'm not really ready for it to end. This is the 6th in the series, they're meant to be read consecutively and not as a standalone as there are multiple story threads that require prior knowledge. While the sense of fun and bonkers-ness is here again in spades, this one also felt more than a little darker than the previous books. I'm loving the development of the relationship between the trio, finally Zee and Victor are on the same page with Adam.
We're re-introduced to Gideon Cain who is the ultimate big bad in the series, and I really, really just want him to get his comeuppance in a very big way, that hopefully involves a lot of pain for him. There's a twist in the end of this tale that better get sorted out, and as usual the pace of the story is full throttle all the way from page 1. I'm hanging on for the ride with this series, and it does feel as if it's all coming to a climax and I'm more than here for that.

Book 6 in the SOS Hotel series is as wacky and crazy as all the others. It might be my favorite in the series as we get to see all the feels come out to play. The author did a great job at balancing the insanity of the series with the emotions, and for a book as nuts as this one, it makes all the hard emotional stuff that much more special.
I didn't think this series could get better, this book proved me wrong. Very much looking forward to seeing how it all wraps up in the final book.
