They’ve had to work in secret with the assistance of their boss, Deputy Chief Arizona Priest. When they get home from what promises to be their last venture outside of California to begin planning the ousting of Bradshaw and his evil minions, neither man is prepared for the disappearance of their boss or the reappearance of an evil nemesis.

Third in series (U.S. Marshals I.S.R. Interspecies Response), series finale, must be read in order. Paranormal. Established couple. Coworkers. POC representation. Dual POV. 

Picking up immediately after the last book, Ari and Eoghan are still unsure as to who the mole is in the office as they continue working quietly to recruit additional shifter clans to help overthrow the vampire usurper and help their ally King John. With the aid of their boss, as well as several friends they have made in the last few months, things begin to come together in preparation for the final fight. 

Ari and Eoghan are super schmoopy in this book and I especially enjoyed the moments when they were on page alone together and sharing their feelings honestly, as well as the steamy elements. The overarching plotline of the series comes to a conclusion here, although I wish we could have spent more time with some of the different shifters, aliens, and coworkers Ari and Eoghan had just to see where everyone ended up. Overall, a thoroughly entertaining series.
