Below Deck by BL Maxwell (Pride Cruise 2024)

Below Deck is an fairly low angst, opposites attract, forced proximity story set in the multi-authored Pride Cruise 2024 series.

From the blurb:

JJ Carrington was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He’s used to flying in business class and spending all his holidays at the nicest resorts in the world. But lately he’s tired of the same vacation over and over again, and the long days of drinking and looking for his next hookup are starting to blur together.

Cory Wynn has been working on a cruise ship for the past year. He’d never traveled before that, and now he’s seen more Caribbean destinations than he even knew existed. He hoped to meet someone to fall in love with while at sea, but so far all he does is work.
JJ follows some of the passengers onto the cruise ship after partying with them all day. Security realizes he’s not a passenger, and they waste no time taking him into custody and explaining to him he’ll be dropped off at the next stop. JJ is used to getting his way in everything in life, but this time there’s no one to bail him out. He may have finally met his match in the cruise worker who has to share his cabin with him and can’t wait until the next stop to get him off the ship. #Forced Proximity #Enemies to Lovers #Opposites Attract

Welcome to Pride Cruise 2024!
Where the water is crisp, the men are HOT, and the party has started! Each book is a standalone but feel free and dive in and binge them all. You won't want to miss a second of their naughty antics. If you think they're silly when the sun is up, just wait until it goes down.

Heather's Review:

When the only bed available for stowaway JJ Carrington is in the staff quarters with a man who not only caught his eye, but had a front row seat to the shenanigans that got him there... Sparks fly in so many directions and it's fun to watch Cory come out of his shell and JJ find a piece of himself as he tries to make restitution to the cruise ship for his less than stellar behaviour.

This was a fun take on the Pride Cruise theme and had some true highlights, including JJ's defense of Cory and some of their initial encounters when sharing a cabin.  If you're looking for a different approach to the Pride Cruise theme with a bit of naughty and nice thrown in, you'll want to add Below Deck to your TBR.
