His to Trust (To Love & Protect #9) by Carrie Davis

I had only gotten three years of a business and accounting degree under my belt before I became an unwilling and undeniably unhappy media darling.' - Cassius, His to Trust.

From the blurb:

A fire in his blood stops him cold…

Cassius Preston ran hard and fast to escape the scandal of his life, but all that running comes to an abrupt halt when he meets Nash Lamont and sparks fly.

Cassius and Nash may have found each other, but jealous friends, old lovers, and heartaches that never healed threaten them both now.

Can they overcome the past and find their way to a real future together?

Laora's Review:

His to Trust has one of the quickest instalove/lust/connection connection story I have ever read.

Cassius and Nash are likeable as individuals and a couple. They have both dealt with loss in different ways and have found ways to handle that and on another level are still coming to terms with that, especially Cassius, when family members show up.

The only thing that surprises me is that Nash never noticed how far removed from reality Adrian was.

This was a quick read with a little bit of angst and a lot of loving.

His to Trust is book nine in the 'To Love & protect' series and can be read as a standalone.
