Book Blogger Hop - Book Signings/ Diverse Characters

I'm trying out a second week in the book blogger hop and I screwed up looking at the prompt so I answered the one from LAST AUGUST for this time...  but I thought I'd leave it in since it really does speak to the blog, so it's second and the book signing prompt is first:

Have you ever gotten a book signed by the author?

I have a few signed books from back when I read paper copies, but now that I'm all digital, I have stopped buying paperbacks to get signed... that being said, I am considering collecting bookplates signed by my favourite authors and scrapbooking them...

Now for the prompt I answered first... 

"Do you read books by diverse authors or books with diverse characters (such as LGBT, ethnic minorities, religious minorities, etc)? If yes, do you have any book recommendations? Do you visit indie and/or used bookstores? Also, have you ever worked in any?"

Well, since you stumbled upon a MM romance blog, I'll start by saying yes to the first question - all of the books I review are LGBT (mostly Gay or Bisexual Men) but some are Trans, some are elsewhere on the spectrum, but to qualify for review here, they all identify as men...

That being said, I'll focus on the other part of the question for my recommendations here - these are books I've reviewed that feature an ethnic minority (and that I've loved and think you will too...
