The moment I found this author, who wrote Brushed&Buried, I fell in love with her writing. There is no other way to explain how the continuation feels except that the magic is still alive

Even though the books are technically standalones and can be enjoyed on their own, the deep, meaningful connections, the strong friendships between all of these men can be seen and felt in their entirety after reading the first book. Because all of the characters are more than fade to black presence in each other's lives, they are actually the kind of friends every single person dreams to have in real life.
Now let's circle back to what makes Touch&Torque so special and standing out as a book. The first thing is Touch! Yes, it's a book, it's not supposed the reader to feel like sitting in the middle of a theater while the act plays out. But absolutely undeniably Lance and George's story is written like the most compelling 3D effect version of reality, writing can ever achieve.
From the moment Lance woke up, missing a significant chunk of his memories from the night of Trevor's wedding, it was Game on, The film started. Sound, texture, emotions, scents - every detail so carefully crafted they had a life of their own.
These men stepped into one of the most intense bi awakenings ever, because they already had one well built emotional foundation, they had the kind of awareness for each other that could exist only between people who knew each other on molecular level. The sexual aspect of the new kind of exploration between them blossomed naturally and gradually, developing the bond they already had in something even more significant.
No one can take the place Vince and Adrian, especially Adrian, have in my heart for being so bold, so unapologetically themselves, but Lance has Adrian's spark - the same fire, that can't be easily extinguished, the same thirst for exploring and finding who he is, the same primal strength and endurance that lights the heart of the reader. But the similarities end here.
Lance and George have their own journey and their own challenges. Their relationship and kinky quirks are their own.
Touch&Torque has a magnificent blend of strong emotional build up, very high spice and scorching hot chemistry. Yes, these men, once they shed the restraints, really turned the heat on max and f*cked like demons /no apologies for the comparison/.
The rom-com elements and the fire burning between them aren't the only thing on page though. The story had a solid and compelling plot line that showed more then the metamorphosis of their bond. It followed the personal growth of the characters, how Lance and George went through the test of all the difficulties that had to be solved. At the end their bond proved stronger and the HEA tasted like an absolute win.
I loved them both so much even if the temptation to bump their heads together sometimes was overwhelmingly strong.
