Overeager (Extra Credit, Book 1) by Grae Bryan; Narrated by Michael Ferraiuolo

A steamy younger Alpha/older omega story that also brings all the feels. How can Eli deny that there is something special between him and Noah, if only he wasn't his student!

From the blurb:

Eli Miller worked hard to get where he's at. He put in his time with academia, suffered through a contentious divorce, and now he's months away from securing tenure. And sure, Eli's let his life get a little small and a little boring, but that's better than stumbling into another epic mistake like his first marriage. But when a ridiculously hot alpha way out of Eli's league asks for a very specific favor, Eli finds himself taking a walk on the wild side for the first time in years. Which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, until that same young alpha shows up in one of Eli's classes.

As his student.

Noah Teller has never wanted anyone to be his boyfriend before. His friends say he's too picky, Noah just thinks he's…selective. But when an adorable omega with kind eyes and a delicious scent falls into his lap, Noah isn't afraid to ask for what he wants. And yeah, Eli might be his professor—whoops—but that doesn't mean Noah's going to let him get away.

Call him overzealous, call him overeager, but either way, Noah is going to make Eli his.

Overeager is a student x professor, age gap, omegaverse romance. It contains a confident alpha student, an omega professor regretting certain life choices, steamy first times, a case of sweetie pie meets sweetie pie, and an ex-husband who maybe needs a punch to the face. The series is non-shifter omegaverse with no mpreg.

SNik's review:

Audio. First in series (Extra Credit). Omegaverse. Alpha/omega. Professor/student. Secret/forbidden relationship. Age gap. Dual POV. Heed content warnings.

An unexpected one night stand while on vacation sparks overwhelming attraction between a professor omega and younger Alpha. Upon returning home, Eli discovers Noah is a student in one of his classes; he knows they shouldn’t pursue anything, but Noah won’t let the sexy professor go that easily.

This was a steamy and sweet introduction to a new omegaverse, with familiar A/o dynamics, and a cinnamon roll Alpha that dotes on his special omega. Noah may be younger than Eli, but he knows what he wants and how important his connection is with Eli. Both Eli and Noah are likable characters, and they easily fall for each other in a comfortable way, and the author shows that connection inside and outside of the bedroom. I really enjoyed this story, how Eli and Noah appreciated and cared for each other, and when push comes to shove, are willing to risk everything to be together.

Michael Ferraiuolo is a fun narrator, the way he is easily able to convey emotions draws the reader in. He is definitely a favorite narrator and brings this omegaverse to life, especially the spicy scenes.
