This was such a cute novella. Patrick really went through it to get to be with Gray. I kept wondering what was going to happen next to Patrick. I loved how Gray decided to go on this grand adventure with Patrick to figure out what was going on. Even though the book only took place over 2 days you could tell it was going to end with a HEA. They were totally smitten with each other by the end. I loved it!

A secret santa gift at work may be cursed and Patrick can’t afford to end up in the ER for a fourth time in one day! But meeting ER doctor Gray has been a positive, if only they can figure out how to get rid of the curse and maybe see if the spark between them can be something more.
This is a quick dive into a video game coder's Christmas Eve that goes all the way wrong except for possibly meeting the man of his dreams. Luckily both Gray and Patrick feel the attraction and pull to each other, so this story eases into an instalove, meant-to-be relationship that was helped along by a cursed/blessed Krampus statue. The awful stuff that happens to Patrick was fantastical and soothed a little by him finding comfort with Gray. A cute read that I could have read more of given the interesting side characters and I would have enjoyed learning more about Gray and Patrick’s backgrounds. An unusual meet-cute, short Christmas story.
