This is a sweet, slow burn story that pairs the young, fish out of water Ford with worldly and flirtatious Aiden, in spite of his brother's edicts. While not explicitly mentioned, Ford seems neurodivergent and has sensory issues that impact his life and his relationships. Aiden is persistent and patient and I love the way their story unfolds. As always, the side characters provide both serious and comedic story lines and Granny steals the show...
Best read in order, but could be read standalone if you like.
